Today I partner with I-World Mr. Steven to promote following training:
1. Ubuntu 7.10 Desktop-2 days
2. Gimp Photo Editing - 1 day
3. OpenOffice.org 2.3.1 - 2 days
So far the promotion method is using paper, I gave a lot of paper, in Malay and Chinese version.
Seems like the feed back is not good enough, I'm tired standing at Landmark for 1/2 day. I found that I need to prepare a video to attract more people, now I downloading some video from Internet hope I can attract more people tomorrow.

After complete the IT seminar today, I found that a few people in the even'd install and tried Linux OS before.
The content I present to is:
1. What is Linux
2. The advantages and special features of Linux OS.
3. The weaknesses of Linux
4. The walk arround for Linux problem
5. Some statistics about Linux market share
6. The Linux skill demand in Malaysia and Singapore
7. How to get the local support
Today I'd gave 5 pcs Ubuntu 7.10 cd, hopefully they will come to this website and post their problem.
Even though there is not much people come to this even, I believe this is a good start.
To make Linux OS become more popular in Johor, we need better marketing material, like high density Linux video, better slide, and of course better presentation skill (Today I feel mess in my presentation).
* I even know a Director from an open source solutions IT company, he gave some valuable feed back. I'm glad to know him.
Regards,
